STC Procedures and DRC
PRIOR TO ACCESS TESTING
Preparing for the testing day for School Test Coordinators (STC) and Test Administrators (MLPS)
STC & MLPS - Review the caseload spreadsheet in the Google Drive Folder assigned to you and your school's Test Coordinator.
Students enrolled after November will need to be entered manually.
MLPS ONLY - Review students' IEP for Alt ACCESS with the IEP team.
If an ACCESS-Limited Request is considered, it must be submitted 2 weeks before the ACCESS testing window starts.
Submit the request to your MLPC via the Google Drive Folder assigned to you. DO NOT email this information to your MLPC or anyone. You must include the completed ACCESS-Limited Request form, the IEP, the student's previous ACCESS scores (If applicable), and any other documentation supporting your request.
STC ONLY - Printing tickets
STC will print the tickets on different colored papers. Each language domain will be printed on a specific colored paper. The tickets will also have separate envelopes by grade level. STC will give the TA/MLPS the entire envelope for each language domain and grade level requested on the scheduled testing day.
(Listening - yellow, Reading - green, Speaking - blue, and Writing - pink)
EX: Listening 1st grade, Listening 2nd grade, and so on will be printed on yellow paper, and each will have its own labeled envelope.
Please use the following form to track the check-out and check-in of tickets on the scheduled testing days.
DURING ACCESS TESTING
Reporting Test Violations
MLPS - You must email to your MLPC, our District Test Coordinator, and your school building Test Coordinator.
Suppose the school building STC is not an administrator. In that case, he/she will report the violation to the administration, who will report it to our DTC using the Test Violation Report form.
Only administrators can complete the Test Violation Report form.
Take a moment to run a completion report in DRC for ACCESS.
This will prevent students who have finished testing but didn't properly end the testing session, which may show "in progress" in DRC.
If you find students at your schools with this issue, please have them log back into that test to finalize it, or they will come back as incomplete for ACCESS testing and not have an ACCESS report for this academic year.
