April 30, 2026
Dear Parents,
Thank you for attending Open House last week! It was wonderful to see you all and I know your children enjoyed sharing all of their hard work with you.
This week, the students were assigned a famous Declaration of Independence line to memorize. Please monitor this memorization practice throughout the coming days. On Thursday, May 7th, I will be having each child recite this line to me. (No writing will be involved.)
Also, please help me encourage your children to work hard to meet their final AR points goal and end the year strong. Instead of having a June goal, I have decided to extend the current goal to May 12th. A pink slip was sent home yesterday regarding how many points your child has left to meet this goal. Please sign and return this slip to school if you have not done so already.
CAASPP testing begins next week. Please be sure your child gets plenty of sleep each night, eats a healthy breakfast each day, and arrives to school on time. Testing will begin right away each morning.
