September 4, 2025
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the first of many "Weekly Messages". Each Thursday I will post a letter like this. It will let you know what we have been working on in class and it will also inform you about upcoming events and projects. Make sure you check this tab on our website each Thursday afternoon for the latest update.
As a reminder, starting today, each Thursday your child will bring home a "Corrected Work" Envelope. Please read the initial letter attached and send the tear-off back either today or Monday, along with the signed work within the envelope.
Many thanks to those parents who have ordered and sent in items from our class Amazon Wish List. Your generosity is so appreciated! I will be updating this list throughout the year. If anyone feels like donating anything to our class, this list will keep you informed of our current needs. The list is located on this website. It can be found by clicking the "General Information" tab at the top, then clicking "Classroom Wish List".
Our scheduled P.E. days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, we will go out to play games and learn skills on other days as well. PLEASE make sure you send your child to school in sneakers each day. While they look cute, boots and fancy shoes are unsafe to wear during physical education. Thank you in advance!
Speaking of physical education, we are in need of approved volunteers to join our third grade students on Thursday mornings between 8:10 AM- 9:10 AM to help out with psychomotor. The more volunteers we have, the smoother things go! If you are looking to volunteers at Welby, this is a definite area of need.
Have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for all you do!
Sincerely,
Mrs. McLoud
