Dear Parents,
It was wonderful to meet with everyone this week! I appreciate your taking the time out of your busy schedules to sit down and discuss your child's progress.
It is hard to believe that a week from today is already Thanksgiving! I hope your family is able to take time to relax, have fun, and enjoy one another. When we return to school on December 1st we'll set off on 3 weeks of busy school days. Please remember that our farm field trip is on December 4th, the Thursday we return to school. Many thanks to Ms. Goss and Ms. Gomez for volunteering to join us on that day. It will be an exciting culmination to our life science unit!
Two things I ask for during the break...
Please keep your child reading throughout the week.
Keep your child practicing multiplication tables. Our weekly testing will resume when we return the first week of December.
If your child works on these two things next week, it sends the message that these things are important. I appreciate your support in this.
