Dear Parents,
Today your child should be bringing home a cloud journal. The students have been shown what to do and beginning today, should fill out one page a day for five consecutive days. (We did today's in class together already.) Please do not have your child do the graphing pages at home. The journal is due back to school with the 5 completed pages on Tuesday, with Monday being the last day for your child to complete. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Just to give you a heads-up, Read Across America is the week of March 2nd - March 6th. Each day will be a fun, different way to enjoy reading at school. If possible, please join your child in our classroom on the morning of March 5th from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM for a half hour of reading. Feel free to bring blankets and pillows. Students are welcome to wear pajamas that day. (Please make sure normal school shoes are worn, however.) I hope to see you then!
