Yr 7 are currently looking at Impressionism Art. Each lesson mirrors the style of learning from the classroom. The first part of each lesson is an opportunity to consolidate prior knowledge, through a recap quiz. This is an important element that we don’t want to lose, remotely. The students are then asked to carry out a practical task in relation to the terminology learnt.

Y8 are studying the Art Deco Period. Prior to lockdown, students were exposed to the aesthetics of Art Deco, through paintings and wallpapers. They are now using this module to further strengthen their knowledge of the movement. This will be through recap quizzes, artistic analyses and practical tasks, that will be inspired by designers from that era.
