Dear DPA Families,
It has been so brilliant to end our school year with our activities week! Our children have ‘visited’ Mexico, the Middle East, Japan, Zanzibar, France, Australia, India and Brazil. They’ve sampled culinary delights and experienced traditional dress as they’ve developed their International-Mindedness. They’ve been open-minded about the different celebrations cultures have and what they mean to them. It has been great fun with so much learnt along the way.
As we head into the summer, please keep reading with your children. Dartford Library is participating in this year’s summer reading challenge and it’d be great to hear about any children who take part in this. https://www.kent.gov.uk/leisure-and-community/libraries/summer-reading-challenge
Whatever you have planned for your summer, we hope you enjoy it and look forward to seeing you safely back in September.
Take care,
Mrs Haywood and Mr Mitchell
We continue to prepare for the launch of our new nursery name from September 2022 and we are very excited! Our nursery will be known as ‘Little Birds’ nursery. We highly value the importance of early education and therefore wanted our nursery to have its own identity. Mrs Humphreys, our EYFS phase leader, will be leading on this and able to answer any questions you may have as she returns from maternity leave.
A specific jumper with the new logo on it will be available to purchase from Brigade - our uniform supplier. More details about uniform can be found on our website: https://dartfordprimary.org.uk/school-uniform/
