Student & Family Support Services Form
While focusing on helping students see the many possibilities for who they can become, this year’s activities highlight the theme of music—a harmony of joy, connection, and possibility. Activities for elementary students will be themed around the book Moses Goes to a Concert by Isaac Millman, while the students in middle and high school will learn about Evelyn Glennie, a world-renowned deaf percussionist.
The event invites all students K-12 who have a hearing loss to attend! This includes students who do not have an IEP. Parent sessions will also be offered. Teachers and staff that bring students may be asked to help with some activities.
Please register each person that will be attending individually, both students and adults (on separate registration forms).
All students will participate in every grade-level activity, including the Vocabulary Query. K-2 will only be a practice query, while other grade levels will be awarded for correctness. Awards will be given for other activities, as well.
All students must be accompanied by a registered adult (parent or staff member) who will be present at the event.
Parents are expected to attend the Parent Sessions.
Lunch will be provided. Please let us know of any allergies. If your student has extreme dietary restrictions, please ensure they have an appropriate lunch.
