Student & Family Support Services Form
KSD Outreach places Educational Consultants across the commonwealth to provide technical assistance for families and districts of students with hearing loss. Technical assistance is available for evaluations, educational programming, classroom adaptations, interpreting, communication, hearing technology supports and meaningful inclusionary practices. Support services are provided from birth to graduation. Our services are provided through the Kentucky Department of Education at no cost to districts.
The Kentucky Educational Resource Center on Deafness & Hearing Loss is located in Brady Hall on the KSD campus. "The Center" offers a growing Resource Lending Library if items related to Deaf/hard of hearing education. Availability of items housed in the Resource Lending Library.
The Language Deprivation Intervention Program (LDIP) target the critical impact of language deprivation.
