Favorite moment from high school?

If I had to pick my favorite moment from high-school, just one, I would say it would have to be from Founder's Day, 2019, when all of K-12 sang Sons of Hawaiʻi together. I say 2019 because as a senior it tugs on your heart strings just a little more than years before. While I was singing, I took a look around me, at the bleachers, to every spot I had sat in since kindergarten, and my heart and mind felt at peace. Throughout the school year, it isn't often that we have the opportunity to unite as one ʻohana, so having been able to experience something so surreal will be a memory that I will cherish forever.

Most influential adult throughout my K-12 journey:

The most influential adult to me would be my dad and my mom, I can't pick one because they are practically the same person and not one has influenced me more than the other. My dad has taught me strength and dedication, where my mom has taught me confidence and grace. Life has never been easy, but I was taught that in challenge comes growth and that without growth, life would be far too mediocre.

What are you most looking forward to?

I am looking forward to being able to go to the mall with my friends without asking my parents for permission.
