DID YOU KNOW? Melody leads cultural knowledge in KPR. In the 2022-23 school year, she:

• Visited many classes within 23 different elementary schools across three regions, building relationship with 30 to over 300 students per school.

• Shared monthly video messages for our department newsletter, for Principal/VP meetings, and the VES Virtual Grade 8 Grad.

• Met regularly with Director of Education, Rita Russo, for consultations.

• Organized the Roseneath Centennial PS Pow Wow.

• Collaborated with artist Koren Smoke on a big mural project at Duke of Cambridge PS.
