This course will cover how teachers can use disciplinary approaches to support pupils to read demanding and complex texts and what it really means to read like a historian, a mathematician, a scientist etc. Drawing on the latest research and expertise in the field, teachers will feel confident in employing a range of reading approaches in their lessons to support the delivery of the curriculum.
