At King's Group Academies, we believe that teaching and learning is of the utmost importance. Every student deserves the very best teaching, in every lesson, every day. That expert teaching and learning comes from our skilled and passionate staff, who deserve the very best CPD opportunities, and we offer a range of CPD both in-house and MAT wide.

Each academy runs their own bespoke in-house training through their meetings, INSET days and twilights. Every two years, in February, we have our trust-wide KGA Professional Learning Day, bringing all our schools and staff together as one. We are proud of our KGA CPD; training designed and delivered by staff from all our academies. These sessions are linked to the MAT wide priorities for teaching and learning with our students in mind. Staff also have the opportunity to complete an NPQ from Best Practice Network in accordance with their performance management and line manager. We have also designed our own ECT framework, ensuring that our Early Career Teachers receive the very best bespoke training, designed and delivered by KGA staff.
