LI: To construct sculptures from observation and imagination
We had a go at creating people from tin foil. We had a tricky start as we soon realised foil could fall about quite easily! We got there in the end and here are our amaizng creations!
Friday 19th January
LI: To practise different clay techniques
We have been trying out clay techniques in preparation for our clay sculptures next week!
We have been: rolling, pinching, carving, squashing and smoothing.
Friday 26th January
LI: To construct sculptures from observation and imagination in response to the artwork by Barbara Hepworth
Topaz class did a great job working with clay to produce sculptures inspired by Barbara Hepworth's work.
Thursday 1st February
We painted our artwork today! The children chose colours which would create the effect that their sculpture have been made out of wood or metal.
Wednesday 7th February
