Place Value 

To start the year off the children have been learning place value. This involves 

• Rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100, 1, 000 and 10,000. 

• Learning our roman numerals 

• Ordering numbers in both ascending and descending order. 

• Comparing Numbers
