LI: To order the events of the Great Fire of London
Today, we worked in groups to sequence the main events of the Great Fire of London and used the song we know to help us.
Thursday 5th October
Well done Topaz Class! You helped to rebuild London - and you did your very best to save it from the raging fire!

We had a great discussion about sources and what types of evidence would help us answer different types of questions.
Wednesday 18th October
We have written diary entries based on our learning of the Great Fire of London. Before writing, we had in depth conversations about what life was like and how we might have felt in Samuel Pepys shoes. We had great fun tea-staining the paper to make it look authentic!
Friday 3rd November
LONDON'S BURNING!!
Topaz class had great fun building their own city of London and then watching it burn. After, we discussed why and how the fire spread.
