Visa Cancellation Guidelines
At King Henry VIII College Malaysia, we are committed to supporting our international students throughout their academic journey — including when transitioning to another institution or returning to their home country. Visa cancellation is a crucial administrative step to ensure compliance with Malaysian immigration laws and to facilitate future visa applications.
Notes:
The visa cancellation process is mandatory and crucial to prevent future immigration complications. Failure to cancel the current visa properly may result in the student being blacklisted by the Immigration Department of Malaysia, affecting their eligibility to apply for another Student Pass.
Once a student initiates the Student Pass cancellation, the associated Guardian Pass and Dependent Pass must be canceled simultaneously to ensure compliance with immigration regulations.

REASON 1: Further study / Change of Institute in Malaysia
Kindly ensure all outstanding fess has been cleared. If you have any questions regarding the fee structure or payment status, please do not hesitate to contact finance@kinghenryviii.edu.my.
Documents Required:
1. Original Passport(s)
2. Offer Letter of New Institute
3. Documents from Ministry of Education of New Institute
For the request of Release Letter, the new institute is required to write an email to visa@kinghenryviii.edu.my by attaching the student's offer letter.
REASON 2: Returning to Home-country
Kindly ensure all outstanding fess has been cleared. If you have any questions regarding the fee structure or payment status, please do not hesitate to contact finance@kinghenryviii.edu.my.
Applicants are required to submit complete documents for visa cancellation 3 weeks prior the departure date.
Documents Required:
1. Original Passport(s)
2. Returning flight ticket / flight Itinerary
If parent(s) is/are leaving together with the child(ren), please do provide parent(s)' :
4. Copy of passport and entry stamp / MDAC / VISA page
5. Returning flight ticket / flight Itinerary
REASON 3: Switching to another Visa Type
This applies to individuals who have decided to switch their visa type from a Student, Guardian, or Dependent Pass that was applied under the school.
Documents Required:
1. Original Passport(s)
2. Proof of pass application / approval
3. Copy of parent's passport date page and visa page
If switching to dependent under Employment Pass
4. Parent's employment letter
After switching to another visa type, students are required to obtain an endorsement on their passport known as the "Permission to Study" stamp. This stamp is essential to officially validate your child's enrolment at King Henry VIII College Malaysia and to ensure full compliance with both immigration and educational regulations.
