Review: Sign Me A Story is an interactive app for children with speech disabilities to learn American Sign Language (ASL). The app features over 20 signs incorporated in four stories such as One Cool Cat, Two Magical Hats, My Walk on the Wildside, and Sign Me a Silly Story: My Crazy Upside Life. There are also videos, colorful artwork, and music in which children with disabilities are the demonstrators. While reading the story, users can use words to fill in the missing vocabulary terms. Once a word is chosen, a demonstrator uses sign language to express the word. Once all the vocabulary terms are filled in, users can move on to the next page of the story. The stories in the app are filled with colorful illustrations associated with the actions in the narration. Audio is also available for those who would like to hear the story. There is no account needed to access features of Sign Me a Story.
