Review: Go Read is a digital application that enables individuals with print, physical, and learning disabilities to read eBooks. From the Bookshare library, readers can choose from a variety of stories available by title, author, or ISBN. Users also can explore the latest titles, popular books, newspapers, and magazines. Adjustable features such as night vision, print size, and screen orientation formats are available to make reading a more personalized experience. Words in the stories are highlighted in colorful blocks when a section is pointed to or clicked on when reading. Each book within the software supports the Common Core State Standards and provides image descriptions. Although users have the option to explore the app without making an account, books are only accessible and downloadable with an account. An account is only available by having a Bookshare membership, or to a user who qualifies as disabled. Books can be read using DAISY 3 text, EPUB 2 formats, and listened to using TalkBack features.
