Review: See Touch Learn Pro is a powerful and versatile tool for a speech language pathologist (SLP) to organize activities for their students who are trying to improve their ability to produce a targeted sound. In this app, the SLP designs their own activities based on the specific needs of the child. This app offers SLP’s access to a wide range of tools to customize their activities. There are ample talk throughs to guide the SLP and link the user to a community where they could receive more assistance. The activities can then be shared with the special ed teacher or parent to assist the student outside of therapy time. The student can then do the created activities (usually reading sentences that target specific trouble sounds) right in the app. This is definitely a joint media engagement type of app, I’m afraid a child would accidentally tap on the wrong area and be immersed in the professional side of the app and not be able to navigate his or her way back to the activity.
