Review: MyTalkToolsLite is an app designed for nonverbal users with assistive speech needs. The home page is very simple: it gives six main options (yes/no, foods/drinks, needs, greetings and so forth) along with a photo that represents each option. When you tap on each option, it either says the word out loud (like yes or no) or it takes you to a second screen with more options (like types of drinks). It’s very simple, but it is an effective way for a low functioning user to communicate his or her basic needs and wants to a caregiver. MyTalkToolsLite is a trial version of MyTalkTools. It has fewer options than the full version. It is not customizable, nor does it connect to the internet or social media in any way.
