May 20th 5th Grade Fun Day

On May 17th, our 5th graders will get to enjoy the majority of their day in play! We will have a schedule for our students to enjoy activities on both sides of our school like the following: kickball, pickleball, nine squares, and sidewalk chalk to name a few. We encourage students to wear sunscreen, hats, and bring water since the weather in May tends to be a little warm. Teachers will keep you informed the closer we get to our FUN DAY!

Below is the permission slip for 6th grade students to attend Hawaiian Falls. If you are unable to print the form we will have them in the front office for you or your student to pick up. Thank you!

Mile Run Information for May 22nd 5th & 6th Grade

Mile Run happening on May 22nd?! 6th grade starts at 8:15, 5th grade race happens as soon as the 6th grade is done.

Permission slips are due by Monday, May 20th for your student to be able to participate in the off-campus and back race. If your child did not come home with the permission slip, they did not qualify.

Yes, parents may come to watch, but please be sure you check in at the front office.

BCI 5th/6th Photographs

Hello parents! We are selling pictures of mainly our 6th graders from BCI since they are moving on up to KMS for a donation of $5. These are the large pictures that are hung in the hallways throughout our school and a few digital photos that will be emailed by Ms. Reyes. We will use money raised to purchase more photos for our hallways.

If you would like to purchase a picture, please choose "purchase" and put your name and email address. If there is not an option available to purchase, and has a name listed, then the photo has already been bought by someone else.

**Please make cash or check payment to BCI and drop off in the front office.

**There is a slight lag time when someone selects to purchase a photo before the option is removed--if you happen to select purchase on a photo that has already been bought, we will look at the time stamp and give the photo to the first in line. Parents, your students will be keeping their computers and chargers over the summer, this is for both 5th and 6th graders. If your child is not returning to a KISD campus next year they will need to turn their computers and chargers into Mrs. Brewer in the library.

6th Grade Clap Out

For any 6th grade parents who are interested in lining up to help us clap out our 6th grade students for the final time as they exit BCI on May 23rd, we welcome you to join us. We will begin lining up on the West side (pickup drop of zone) of the building at 11:40 am.

Remember that the last day of school is an early dismissal @ 12:00 PM.
