We didn’t pause our promotion efforts, even during the winter vacation. This time, we aimed to spread media literacy beyond our school community.
In Taiwan, Lunar New Year is a time for family gatherings. Taking advantage of this opportunity, we shared the videos we created with our parents and relatives and asked for their feedback. This not only helped them understand what we had been working on throughout the semester but also raised their awareness about the key concepts of media literacy such as the roles parents or adults play and what they can do in developing children's media literacy.
Through this initiative, our promotion efforts successfully expanded into the broader community!
