Mark Wade is an Assistant Professor, Artistic Director, and Program Director of the Theater Arts Program at Arcadia University. Mark is an alum from The Yale School of Drama as well as The Neighborhood Playhouse. Mark has worked in both acting and directing in various theaters and theater companies such as: The Westport Country Playhouse, The Long Wharf Theater, and Trinity Repertory Theater. Besides being an actor and director, Mark is also an education coordinator and consultant for various productions in both film and live theater. At Arcadia, Mark runs the gambit on a variety of direction, he directs both classical pieces (from playwrights such as August Wilson) as well as pr brand new plays by his students.

Sadia B. Alao: Playwright

Saida Alao is an alumni at The University of Maryland who graduated with a double major in both Theater and Marketing. Besides playwriting, Sadia is was also involved with the Innovation Catalyst at UMD, a Do Good Ambassador, part of the Women's Empowerment Institution Cohort 2, Director of Public Relations at the Smith Undergraduate Student Association, and many more. Sadia has a passion for all things technical, thought-provoking, and content creation. Driven by the passion of conceptualization of a world built through theater, design, and marketing, Sadia carries these passions and celebrates the interdisciplinary of both the business side of theater and the creation of it.


Brandon H. Smith is a senior at West Chester University who double majors in History and Theater and has a minor in French. Brandon is an active member of various West Chester Theater Department productions that range from acting, playwriting, and dramaturging. Besides his time in the theater, Brandon is also the former Inter-Chapter Relations Chair of Phi Sigma Pi Honors Fraternity, as well as serving on Recruitment Committee. Brandon is also the Vice President of the West Chester History Club. While making Dean's List, he also is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta Academic Honors Society Brandon has a deep passion for research, and all things history, as well as a drive to perform and to entertain others, which is why dramaturging is the perfect blend for him to accomplish both in a single setting.
