JANET: Mother to Susy, wife to Alex. Career woman until she isn’t. In her head. Anxious. Feels incredibly guilty, but also victimized. Feels she alone knows what is best for others.

ALEX: Father to Susy, husband to Janet. Has his hobbies, but is mostly just along for the ride in life. Isn’t fully present until he is. Rises to the occasion too late. Takes care of the day-to-day chores and childcare.

SUSY: Nine years old. Down the rabbit hole. Very mature for her age, yet also incredibly imaginative.
