Meet the cast of Into The Woods!
Janet: Alaina Manzo
Hi! I’m Alaina Manzo. I’m an actor, singer, and viola player. I just graduated from Suffolk County Community College, here on Long Island, NY! This is my second time attending KCACTF. I am so excited to experience the new and creative ways our craft is developing in Zoom theatre!
Alex: Sage Beasley
Sage is an acting student from Suffolk County Community College from Long Island, New York. Maybe show credits are important— and he definitely has been in his fair share of shows— but he’d like to cut to the chase and tell you what he really thinks you should know. Onions, butter, sugar. Garlic if you’re into it, and vermouth if you’re freaky. Cook it down in that pan, about ten or fifteen. On the side, toast two slices of bread (he would recommend Dave’s Killer Bread, it’s delicious and nutritious) with gruyere on each slice. Pop them all together and: Boom. French onion soup grilled cheese. He woke his parents up at 2 AM to make them try this recipe, and results were spectacular. Testimonials included: “Wow, that’s good,” and “I can’t get the taste of onion out of my mouth.”
Susy: Alexis Vaxman
Alexis “Alex” Vaxman is thrilled to go out in her final year of college to be involved in the National Playwriting Festival at the College Theatre Festival. Alex is student a Stockton University not only studying theatre performance but also social work with child welfare certification. Alex is grateful for cast, and crew involved in this production, and her first time doing a play over zoom. It was an exciting new opportunity to learn in this new world of theatre, and is prepared to learn until the day theatre can be in person once again.
Stage Directions: Sara Alvarado
Sara centers herself as a queer latinx woman, she is thrilled to be a part of this new work! This is her second year attending KCACTF and first time being a part of NPP and she could not have asked for a better creative team! Enjoy the show!
