Recently, the University Middle School students presented their Project Based Learning (PBL), and Capstone projects. These students have been working hard the past few months to put their best feet forward.
On March 21 the UMiddle 6th and 7th graders showed the parent and public all that they know and more in ways that are fun and engaging. PBL is a project students make to answer the guiding question that semester. This year, the sixth and seventh grade were split into two groups: STEM and Humanities. Humanities focuses on history and literature, while STEM focuses on the science, and mathematical side of things.
When we asked students about their feelings on the matter Gracie Funez said “It was so much fun and my character was so much fun to play.” Her group reenacted the Greek Mythology story Pandora and made it modern and fun to watch.
You can get involved in PBL and/or capstone projects by attending the next PBL/capstone night. If you want to know more about PBL, and how it affects learning, visit this website to learn more: https://rb.gy/ikdyzm
