You and your Department will first identify the best way to categorize student’s evidence of learning. After you've agreed on and created your Department's Categories, you can then use these to group your Assignments by type.
Discuss as a Department which Categories to use: by Type or by Unit of Learning.
New Teachers: Check with your department lead first to see if your department already has predetermined assignment ‘Categories’, otherwise, category names are decided as a PLC and are to be consistent within your PLC.
2. Report Standards by Subject. For clarity and consistency across MS, we report out through standards and assignments within the PowerSchool Pro portal. Each subject reports out on standards specific to their subject.
