When you sign in to GSuite's Chrome browser with your JIS account, you are automatically signed in to all the apps within GSuite: Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sites, Sheets and more.
You will be able to save and sync your bookmarks and passwords. This is super useful because If your device is broken or has been stolen, you can log in to another laptop and voila! Chrome will sync your bookmarks and other settings easily to your new device.
You will be able to easily access additional cool Chrome apps and extensions from Chrome with your JIS account.
When you sign in to your JIS Google account (ex. you went to Gmail and logged in), you will be automatically signed in to Chrome. The final step is to turn on sync so it syncs your bookmarks, password, History and other settings. This will ensure that your data will follow you in any device when you sign in to Chrome.
Remember, sign in to Chrome and sync ONLY if you are using your personal device (no need to sign out.)
If you are using a public computer, always remember to sign out.
