Go to https://jisedu.padlet.org/ and sign in via Google.
Note: Do not sign in to padlet.com as this will log in to a free account.
Click the +Make tab to create a new Padlet.
Choose from the templates list or make a new Padlet from Scratch.
Click the gear icon on the right-hand side of the screen to set up your Padlet.
Below is an example of a Discussion board template's settings.
Write the topic of your Padlet board.
Type a class prompt.
In the Engagement tab, enable comments on post if you want students to comment on each other's posts.
Types of Sharing Settings:
Secret - In the "Collaborators" tab, select Secret in the Link Privacy setting
Permission: only those who have the link to your Padlet can access it. Your Padlet will not show up in the JIS Padlet dashboard.
2. Secret - Password - share the link and provide the password to access the Padlet.
3. Org only - share the link with the JIS Community (faculty and students). You can also choose to display your Padlet on the JIS Padlet org dashboard.
Click the Share panel on the right-hand side of the screen.
You can copy the link and share it manually in Classroom.
You can also share it directly as an Assignment in Google Classroom.
Click the + symbol to add media to a Padlet.
Post text, videos, audio files, or even your own drawing.
For example, use the video recorder if you want to create a video response similar to Flip.
