 Week of November 24-25

Language Arts: 

Learning Targets - We will discuss how the main character's life is being turned upside down due to the fall of Saigon.

Assignments:

Monday: Vocab Quiz---torrential, portent, tolerable, resourceful, conviction, resemble

Bible: 

Learning Targets:  This week, we will delve deeper into Proverbs.  We will discuss the advice Proverbs has for us. Some of the key topics this week will be wisdom and folly, gossip, friendship, and trustworthiness.

Learning Targets: 

This week in science we will wrap up the remaining content on our Human Systems unit. We will finish with memory and understand how all the senses are connected and how they play a role in our brains memory recollection. After break, we will review and assess before we learn the final human system - the reproduction system. Be on the lookout for an upcoming email regarding information about this topic, including the content that will be taught and discussed, as well as the format.

Social Studies: We will discuss the downfall of the Roman Republic and why it happened.  We will also begin to write our speeches about ways to solve the many issues the Roman Republic had near its end.

Math: In the upcoming week students will continue their new unit on Equations and Inequalities, but we will be transitioning to solving inequalities. Our learning target will cover how to write an inequality.
