Language Arts: 

Learning Targets - We will continue our grammatical study of correcting dangling and misplaced modifiers in our writing. We will also practice varying sentence structures and improving our writing.

Learning Targets:  This week, we will delve deeper into Proverbs.  We will discuss the advice Proverbs has for us. Some of the key topics this week will be wisdom and folly, gossip, friendship, and trustworthiness.

This week in science we will continue our unit on Human Systems. We will start to focus on each system individually, understanding how they work, interact with one another, and help us survive and live out our daily functions. We will focus largely on Aerobic Cellular Respiration and how oxygen and nutrients get to all the cells in our bodies.

Social Studies: We will finish our discussion of Greece by discussing the rise and fall of Pyrrhus of Epirus.  This lesson will lead us into our Rome unit.  We will then review what Greek democracy was

Math: In the upcoming week students will begin their new unit on Equations and Inequalities. Our learning targets will cover how to solve a one-step and two-step equation.
