Learning Targets - Students will record their podcast on Monday. The podcast will be completed on Tuesday. During Tuesday's class, we will listen to our peers' podcasts. The remainder of the week will be spent on practicing sentence structures and appositive phrases.

Learning Targets: We will start our unit on Proverbs. In this unit we we learn about both practical and religious wisdom from the Bible.

Learning Targets:
This week in science we will start our new unit on Human Systems. We will intro this unit with group projects, researching and becoming experts at one human system. Students will be grouped and explore one of the following systems: Circulatory, Excretory, Digestive, Respiratory, Muscular, Skeletal, & Nervous. Students will be required to find specific information about their system, teach to the class, provide a demonstration, and formulate a quiz for the class. Students will only be graded on their work toward the project.

Social Studies: We will discuss Alexander the Great and how he conquered the known world in a very short period of time. We will also discuss what his downfall was, and why his empire broke apart after a very short period of time. Finally, we will briefly go over the successor states of Alexander's empire.

Math: In the upcoming week students will finish their unit on Algebraic Expressions. Our learning targets will review how to apply the distributive property and factoring expressions. At the end of the week we will begin our next unit on solving equations.
