Language Arts: 

Learning Targets:

This week, we will wrap up our book group. Students will complete a project that summarizes their learning of theme, plot, setting and characterization.

Bible: 

Learning Targets:  This week we will wrap up our study on Job. We will explore Job's conversation with the final friend, Elihu. We will also learn what Job learns from questioning God.

Science:

Learning Targets: 

This week in science we will wrap up our unit on Heredity and Adaptations. We will review our content, focusing largely on the vocabulary terms: dominant, recessive, heterozygous, homozygous, genotype, phenotype. Students should recall how to cross genotypes using Punnett Squares and understand how to find probabilities

Social Studies: We will finish reading about the Trojan War, and we will discuss how the Greeks adapted an ancient story to their own worldview.  We will also discuss what it meant to be a hero in Greek times and compare it our idea of what a hero is today.  We will also have a short quiz on China this coming Tuesday.

Assignments: No assignments unless in class work is not finished.

Assessments: China quiz on Tuesday, 10/14/25.

Math: In the upcoming week students will begin their next unit on Algebraic Expressions. Our learning targets will cover how to simplify, add, and subtract expressions.
