This week in science students will complete a final project for our Heredity and Adaptations Unit. Students will use their prior knowledge and definitions (dominant, recessive, heterozygous, homozygous, genotype, phenotype) to aid them in creating a new superhero or supervillain. Students will be choosing two superhero/villain parents and crossing various superpower genotypes to determine the genetics of a new character. Students will be given Mon-Wed in class to work and complete their projects before presentations begin end of week.

Social Studies: We will finish our discussion on Greek philosophy by analyzing the political beliefs of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. We will then move on to study the Peloponnesian War, and why the war began. This will center around a discussion of the Greek/Persian Wars.
