Learning Targets:  We will be reviewing and taking the test.  Then we will be discussing how to multiply fractions.

Learning Targets: We will be starting a new part in our unit on "Mixtures and Solutions." We will be learning and making some saturated solutions in class with epsom salts. 

Assessment: Thursday, November 6 (Mixtures and Solutions: Part 3)

Learning Targets: This week we will discuss slavery in the Americas. Why did it start? what was life like for an enslaved African?

Reading/Writing:  This week we will continue our informational writing unit. Students will begin drafting their own informational writings and applying the conventions of informational writing (topic sentences, supporting details, etc.).

Band: This week we continue refining our concert music, pushing into page 11 of the red book, and playing new exercises in the foundations packet!
