Learning Targets:  We will l be discussing how add, subtract and multiply mixed numbers.

Homework:   due the next day

  • Tues.:   HW pack pg. 59 #1-9, write work on scratch paper if you need to write work

Learning Targets: We will be continuing in the last part of our  "Mixtures and Solutions" unit. We will be learning about how there is conservation of matter in a chemical reaction.

Assessment: Friday, November 21

Learning Targets: This week we will discuss slavery in the Americas. Why did it start? what was life like for an enslaved African?

Reading/Writing:  This week we will continue read our nonfiction text about animal cells. The goal of this unit is to help students understand the features of informational texts (definitions, diagrams, headers, etc.) and help them to comprehend these texts.

Band: We will continue going through p. 14 in our TOE books and refining our concert materials.
