School-at-Work (SAW):

Both Programs Offer:
Starting Pay: $21/hr (Paid Weekly)

Any College/University: Up to $5,250/Year Towards Tuition

To participate in a UPS Program (SAW/STW), a student must:
Be a high school senior.
Must be 17 years old by first day of training.
Have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA.
Have completed the basic career and technical skill prerequisites.
Maintain good attendance.
Must have an early release time from school.
Be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Obtain a recommendation from their school.
Contact school counselor if interested.
Complete the JCSP WBL Application (If given a conditional offer of employment).
Be scheduled in appropriate WBL course:
Business Pathway Students: CTE Internship/Co-op
Non-Business Pathway Students: Experience-Based Work (EBW) Co-op
Please Note: UPS Programs recruitment, application, interview, and orientation process takes many months to complete. Students should talk with their school counselor(s) about their interest in UPS Programs as soon as they are interested to ensure they will be eligible for the program.
*Recruitment typically starts in January of junior year.
