What is CWEC?
What is CWEC?
The Career Work Experience Certification (CWEC) is for students working toward an Alternative Diploma and is comprised of four courses, taken in consecutive order. Each course requires 40 hours of Work-Based Learning. Students must complete all four courses in the order shown below and meet benchmarks on the ESAR to achieve Career Readiness.

Work-Based Learning options are embedded in each CWEC course and provide a variety of experiences for students. These experiences may include the following:
Designated ECE school staff should document WBL hours in the CRAAF (see CWEC Admin Guide under Resources).
