WBL Coordinators manage school-level WBL programs by ensuring student and employer eligibility and safe placements and overseeing all related documentation and communication.
WBL Coordinator Responsibilities
Serves as the district supervisor responsible for managing, developing, and supporting all Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs as well as supporting the ECE Transition Services Supervisor in managing, developing, and supporting transition services across the district; serves as primary contact for the school-level coordinators and District staff.
Supports fellow teachers in career pathways work. Supports CTE pathway teachers to implement learning strategies in Career and Technical Education (CTE). Supports teachers in the classroom with peer coaching, sharing pedagogical insights, and instructional strategies, and partners with community and businesses to support CTE in schools.

Beau Johnston
Provides technical assistance to district and school staff, monitors and implements the ECE Transition and Extended School Year (ESY) programs. Supports school and district staff in meeting the Transition and ESY needs of students with disabilities.
Responsible for serving students with disabilities ages 14-21 with an emphasis on developing and implementing the five core pre-employment transition services as required by federal and state regulations (job exploration counseling, work based learning experiences, counseling on post-secondary educational opportunities, workplace readiness training, and instruction in self-advocacy).
Work one-on-one with students with disabilities ages 14-21 implementing a comprehensive career exploration program for eligible students with the goal to obtain secured employment before graduation.
