Plan, implement, monitor, support and/or report on all school Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs.
Prepare and monitor WBL Plans for WBL students with assistance of the worksite supervisors, teachers, and other relevant staff.
Document all communication, and conduct and document periodic visits of worksites (not to exceed 60 days) to ensure adherence to WBL Plans, student safety, and appropriate training and supervision.
Collect all required documentation to meet state and district policies and regulations, and ensure all documentation is securely filed.
Assist teachers and building leaders with developing and implementing WBL programs by providing resources, models, and guidance.
Share promotional materials and other resources to support WBL programs. Maintain consistent communication with students, families, and employers, providing support and addressing any concerns.
Support employer sites and contact persons, conduct site visits to assess suitability, and ensure appropriate safety practices.
Maintain confidentiality related to the information gathered from the WBL Employer Partner.
Prepare and support partners for WBL success.
Support alignment between WBL experiences with students' Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) and provide career skills support during their placements.
Support student development of essential skills, career awareness, and financial literacy needed to thrive in their work placement.
