School-at-Work (SAW):
Take High School Courses Online (Do Not Report to School Daily)
Work at UPS as Part-Time Package Handler
Enroll in a College Class (One Day a Week)

Both Programs Offer:
Starting Pay: $21/hr (Paid Weekly)

To participate in a UPS Program (SAW/STW), a student must:
Be a high school senior.
Must be 17 years old by first day of training.
Have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA.
Have completed the basic career and technical skill prerequisites.
Maintain good attendance.
Must have an early release time from school.
Be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Obtain a recommendation from their school.
Please Note: UPS Programs recruitment, application, interview, and orientation process takes many months to complete. Students should talk with their school counselor(s) about their interest in UPS Programs as soon as they are interested to ensure they will be eligible for the program.
To apply for a UPS Program (SAW/STW), a student must:
Talk to their school counselor as soon as they are interested.
Attend all required UPS recruitment meetings.
Complete all required UPS paperwork.
Complete an interview with UPS staff.
Obtain a conditional job offer from UPS.
Attend UPS Orientation and Training.
New UPS student hires do NOT apply for Work-Based Learning (WBL) on Jobready.
New UPS student hires are NOT required to submit pay stubs.
UPS will report relevant work data to the district Work-Based Learning (WBL) Supervisor.
*Recruitment typically starts January of a student's junior year.
