Work-Based Learning (WBL) enables students to learn about careers, build connections with industry professionals, and develop and practice technical, academic and employability skills esssential for career success.
In JCPS, Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs are primarily implemented in our high schools, but they may be offered to middle school students to foster early career exploration and development.
Work-Based Learning (WBL) is embedded within JCPS Transition Services and the Kentucky Alternate Assessment Career Work Experience Certification (CWEC). Learn more at JCPS Transition Services website.
