A Job Shadow experience gives students the opportunity to learn through on-the-job observation of an individual in a chosen occupation.
To participate in a Job Shadow, a student shall:
Have adequate time to participate.
Have approval of school to participate.
Complete the Educational Enhancement Opportunity (EHO) form and turn into school administration.

To participate in a Job Shadow, an employer shall:
Have a safety-conscious environment.
Have time to spend with the student during the job shadow experience.
Have adequate supervision of the student at the site.
Lack a criminal record.
If a Job Shadow exceeds one (1) school day, the employer will be required to verify a Kentucky Criminal Background Check for all supervisors of JCPS students conducted within the past five (5) years.
