In the book Lion Down by Start Gibs there is a huge part in the book called the turning point. The turning point is when  Summer, JJ McCracken's daughter owner of  Funjungle finds out who/ what is posing the giraffs. How I know this is because on page 263 it says, that along the construction fence that surrounded the great flight cage in a few inches of dirt, some plants were growing. they were weeds, but as weeds they went, they were quite pretty, which was probably why no one had uprooted them. they had bright green leaves  and large purple flowers, along with berries so blue they were almost black. " this is what you fed the giraffes?" I asked. "yeah!" Kevin answered proudly. " they love it."  "do you know what this is ?" Summer asked me. "Yes,"  I replied. "It's the solution to our case." Then 26 pages later they find out who killed King and when they found who was poisoning the giraffe they felt like they could do it and find out who killed King. This evidence shows that the turning point is when Summer finds out who poisoned the giraffe.
