What is the character's overall goal(s)?

What is ultimately motivating them?

Use evidence (direct quotes) from the text to support your answer.
Analyze what you think this character's choice says about them.

Based on these observations, why do you think they wanted to achieve their goal?

I think Teddy has plenty of goals like the lion case and the giraffe case, but the overall goal is to save the lion's life and to prove that Teddy, Summer, Lily, and Tommy are not crazy. I know this because he takes almost pages 30 to the end to solve this problem, but all the other cases are started later like the giraffe case which started around page 90 and was solved near the close to the end of the book. On page 285 it was solved by saying, I knew you killed King to Natasha. She confirmed that she did but then she explained that Grayson was trying to self-defend himself so he hit the dog with a mallet and killed the dog by accident. But what motivated him was knowing that a helpless mountain lion was on the line, he knew that the mountain lion named Rocket wasn't the problem so he worked hard. He wanted to achieve his goal because the life of a mountain lion was there and he knew that was not the thing that killed King
