East Jackson Middle School Community,

As we enter into the fall season, we find ourselves at a time of change and opportunity.  Just as the trees and leaves transform outside, we too have the chance to grow and evolve within our school.  This shift brings new possibilities for our students, staff, and the entire EJMS community.

We're excited to share that we have successfully completed the second round of screeners, a vital step in understanding and supporting the unique needs of each student. This process sets the stage for our next phase: the implementation of Extended Learning Time (ELT). This additional time dedicated to learning will provide our students with enhanced opportunities for growth and development, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential.

As we continue to increase student involvement here at EJMS, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming Club Day on Friday. This time offers students a chance to explore their interests, connect with peers who share similar passions, and engage with dedicated teachers and trusted adults in the building. Clubs serve as more than just extracurricular activities, they are pathways to self-discovery and personal growth.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 21st at 6:00 PM for a special Community Engagement Session at the Empower College and Career Center.  Your input is extremely valuable as we collectively shape the future of the Jackson County School System. This session provides an opportunity for our community to come together, share ideas, and actively participate in the strategic planning process. Your insights will be instrumental in guiding us toward a brighter tomorrow.

As always, thank you for being an integral part of East Jackson Middle School. Here's to a season of growth, learning, and endless possibilities.

Sincerely,

Johnathan Harris

If you have an Infinite Campus parent portal account, you already have an account created! Please see the attached picture for your username and password.
