EJMS students planning to attend this event must RSVP using the QR code included in the invitation below. Transportation from EJMS to EJCHS and back will be provided with a signed permission slip.
Students can obtain a permission slip from the EJMS front office or from Coach Brooks in the gym. Please turn in signed permission slips to Ms. Smith in the EJMS Front Office or Coach Brooks by the end of the day on February 5th.
Parent- School Health Survey
Parents, your opinion is very important to us! Please take a few minutes to complete the parent survey for EJMS created by the Georgia Department of Education. Your survey responses are confidential and will be combined with the survey responses of other parents at EJMS to identify areas in need of improvement.
JCSS Career Fair
The Jackson County School System will be hosting a Career Fair on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Empower College and Career Center. Positions available include: K-12 Teachers, Special Education Teachers, Paraprofessionals, School Food Nutrition, Transportation, Custodial, Student Support Services and Facilities and Maintenance!
Pre-K Registration
Pre-Kindergarten lottery registration for the 2024-25 school year opens this Friday, December 1. Families can register for the lottery through Friday, February 16. Please note this application does not guarantee admission into a Pre-K program inside the Jackson County School System, but is rather an application into the lottery. JCSS will hold a lottery drawing in March and families will be notified following the drawing. To register for the lottery, please visit the link below.

Clinic Information
The Jackson County School System will no longer be offering over-the-counter medications to students.
Medications including Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Pepto Bismol, Tums, and Benadryl will no longer be offered.
If your student(s) will require these medications during school hours, the medication must be brought to the school and registered into the clinic by a parent/guardian.
No medications should be kept in a student’s possession while at school without a physician’s approval and note.
Canvas Information
Parents have access to Canvas Parent Observer accounts. These accounts will allow you to see an overview of what your child is learning and have access to a "Parent Resource" hub. This hub will have information specific to your child's teacher. You will find information about the teacher, contact information, a daily schedule, grade level standards, etc.
If you have an Infinite Campus parent portal account, you already have an account created! Please see the attached picture for your username and password.
