Tutoring Information!

Mondays and Wednesdays until 4:30
Students must be picked up as a car rider.
We will not have buses to take children home.
Students must have a signed permission form to stay for tutoring.

Parents of rising 8th graders!

EJCHS invites you to join them for an informative session covering academic course information, scheduling details, and insights into the 8th-grade academy at East Jackson High School.

FFA is selling beef sticks.

Students must fill out the form linked with the QR code and bring the money to Mr. Youngblood.

Parents, your opinion is very important to us! Please take a few minutes to complete the parent survey for EJMS created by the Georgia Department of Education. Your survey responses are confidential and will be combined with the survey responses of other parents at EJMS to identify areas in need of improvement.

Pre-K Registration

Pre-Kindergarten lottery registration for the 2024-25 school year is open. Families can register for the lottery through Friday, February 16. Please note this application does not guarantee admission into a Pre-K program inside the Jackson County School System, but is rather an application into the lottery. JCSS will hold a lottery drawing in March and families will be notified following the drawing. To register for the lottery, please visit the link below.

Clinic Information

The Jackson County School System will no longer be offering over-the-counter medications to students.

Medications including Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Pepto Bismol, Tums, and Benadryl will no longer be offered.
If your student(s) will require these medications during school hours, the medication must be brought to the school and registered into the clinic by a parent/guardian.
No medications should be kept in a student’s possession while at school without a physician’s approval and note.

Canvas Information

Parents have access to Canvas Parent Observer accounts. These accounts will allow you to see an overview of what your child is learning and have access to a "Parent Resource" hub. This hub will have information specific to your child's teacher. You will find information about the teacher, contact information, a daily schedule, grade level standards, etc.

If you have an Infinite Campus parent portal account, you already have an account created! Please see the attached picture for your username and password.
