7th grade Band LGPE Evaluation Results
Students performed pieces we've been working on for a couple of months on stage and moved into a different space to sight-read a new piece, all in front of judges. They judged the students in various categories of music fundamentals, and the students did excellent.
These students received ALL Superior ratings on their stage performance and in sight-reading!!
In addition to our students' wonderful performances on stage, the student helpers were outstanding. Every judge and multiple band directors raved about how polite and helpful our students were!
Last week was Board of Education Appreciation Week. The Jackson County School System would like to recognize the five dedicated members who serve on our Board of Education. Under the leadership of these individuals, the JCSS Board of Education earned the GSBA Exemplary Board distinction this past fall, the first time in the system's history.
